Building Brand Consistency with Videos

I’m excited to share a project we worked on with NetApp! We had the privilege of developing their first-ever Motion Toolkit after Spot.io’s rebrand, and it was an incredible journey. Collaborating with Michelle Yancey and Karen Karagoulla, we created a toolkit that streamlines video production while ensuring brand consistency, including motion guidelines and an instructional video for seamless onboarding on how to use the brand assets and templates in motion.

We've been entrusted by NetApp to develop their first-ever Motion Toolkit following the recent rebranding of Spot.io. This project transforms existing design assets into animated templates, streamlining and empowering the internal video team’s content creation process. The comprehensive toolkit offers customizable components—including logos, title cards, lower thirds, data displays, transitions, and more—all crafted to produce cohesive, brand-aligned motion content.

In collaboration with Spot by NetApp’s Content Marketing Manager, Michelle Yancey, and Brand Creative Lead, Karen Karagoulla, we worked and expanded the motion toolkit project to include motion guidelines that help creators understand correct usage and design visually engaging, professional video assets. To further support onboarding, we also created a step-by-step instructional video for both Premiere and After Effects, ensuring the creative team can efficiently adopt and use the toolkit. From boosting brand recognition to supporting compelling storytelling, the Motion Toolkit & Guidelines offer versatile tools that bring creative and marketing video projects to life with consistency and efficiency in content creation process.
